As an Intern with the Washington Spirit Soccer Club, you will aid the club in continuing to strive to be a premier club on and off the pitch, you will play a large role in the achievement of this goal by executing projects and by being a part of the day to day activities of the Club. We are seeking interns that will take steps on their own to grow and hone their craft. As an Intern, you will be expected to give maximum effort every day you come to work.
Social Media Production: Washington Spirit are looking for a social media intern to assist the Digital Media and Communications department. The social media intern will report to the Communications Manager and will assist with the day to day objectives of the Digital Media and Communications Department.
Length of Employment: Seasonal Position
Location: Boyds, MD
Reports to: Communications Manager
Compensation: Unpaid (Credit optional)
Use photos, videos and web content to create interesting posts on a daily basis
Assists in real-time coverage during gamedays.
Track, monitor, and engage with fan feedback.
Track and monitor analytics on multiple platforms and with
an analytics dashboard
Create and track social media campaigns.
Other duties and projects as assigned.
A sense of humor and strong awareness of social trends
Ability to proficiently and creatively use Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram
Strong interest in soccer and sports is a plus, but not necessary.
